A space for you. A time for change.

The aim of a coaching relationship is to facilitate the exploration and development of your values, motivations, dreams, skills and desires, and to identify (and smash through) the roadblocks that you may have built in your own way. We all do this, incidentally, you're not alone.

 

My job is to observe, listen, question, and apply my tools, experience and creativity in service of deepening your learning and supporting your move towards real and lasting transformation.

 

I will encourage you in setting goals, hold you accountable in your progress towards these goals, and be your biggest cheerleader on the journey.

 

One of the cornerstones of the Co-Active model is that people are naturally creative, resourceful and whole. I hold that belief very close to my heart. My role is not to judge, but rather to believe in you even more than you believe in yourself, and to reflect that belief back at you. Sometimes, that's all it takes...

Hypnotherapy

mind, body, and the power of the subconscious

I obtained my diploma as a Master Hypnotist over a decade ago, and since that time have used hypnosis to help many people conquer a wide range of challenges, including:

  • Confidence in public speaking

  • Phobias - including heights, needles, hospitals, and insects

  • Alcohol dependency

  • Smoking

  • Over eating

  • Sleep difficulties

  • Stress and anxiety

Hypnotherapy is a deeply relaxing and energising experience that allows you to access the motivations of your subconscious mind. Why would you want to do that? Well, sometimes the subconscious mind can be a royal pain in the behind! It always means well, and its job is to protect you, but sometimes that means that it makes you worry, or reach for a drink/cigarette/piece of cake when you'd rather do the exact opposite.

 

The subconscious is also the place where fear really makes itself at home. And while there's nothing wrong with a smattering of good sense and caution, fear gets in the way of so many things. To live your biggest, happiest life, it helps to understand the role of fear in holding you back, and to make a conscious (and subconscious) decision to release yourself. Making contact with the motivations of the subconscious mind puts you back in the driving seat of your own life, allowing you to choose the behaviour and course of action that will make you happiest in the long term, rather than letting hidden fears and worries rule your actions.

During a hypnotic trance you are not 'unconscious' or asleep. Rather, you are in a place where you conscious mind - the one that's busy and stressed and thinking about the million things you have to do today - is allowed to take a break. Once you feel safe and relaxed in trance, your conscious mind can switch off and your subconscious mind can come out to play. Which is when the magic happens!
